Responsibilities

This role is responsible for working various control reports to ensure operational and regulatory adherence
The colleague in this role will work with business leadership, risk and quality control to ensure existing and new control reports are effective and manage aligned risk and quality efforts
Proactively own efforts to leverage automation and technology to enhance assigned controls
The incumbent is responsible for business process analysis, which includes conducting assessments and gathering data to understand current challenges and pain points and collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and recommend process enhancements
Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for control solution design and implementation, which involves developing solutions and strategies to optimize business support processes and workflows
The incumbent is also responsible for stakeholder engagement, where the incumbent engages with stakeholders and facilitates workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather stakeholder insights
Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for change management, which involves the development of communication plans and materials to ensure effective change management, and performance measurement and analysis, where the incumbent generates reports and provides insights to stakeholders, highlighting areas for improvement and success

Required

2-4 years experience in Consumer or Commercial Banking
Knowledge of internal controls and risk assessment
Knowledge of banking products and operations, regulatory requirements and key processes, controls and exposure
Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

Preferred

2-4 years experience in a Risk monitoring and testing environment
Experience delivering under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Excellent business writing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Data visualization (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, etc)
Prior experience identifying process improvements/automation preferred
