Senior LevelVista Applied Solutions Group Inc is seeking a Senior Data Architect with strong expertise in the insurance domain. The role requires full lifecycle data architecture experience and a passion for data, with a focus on working with insurance data generated by Guidewire.

A passion for all things data
Full lifecycle Data Architecture experience
Strong insurance domain expertise, with London and international markets a plus
Background working with insurance data generated by Guidewire would be extremely helpful
Ideally have experience in Azure, or secondarily a different cloud environment (e.g. AWS). An Azure Solutions Architect certification would also be useful
Experience with both structured and non-structured data, and both relational and non-relational solutions
Experience using vendor and open source options
A solid grasp of the NFRs for the various implementations and options
An understanding of API design, including RESTful
Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills, to allow for effective collaboration with colleagues and business partners
Ability to both explain concepts at a high-level, but also be hands on when working at a low level, utilizing a strong attention to detail
Know when to make independent decisions and when to circle back with appropriate questions
Work within a new domain by identifying gaps in knowledge and actively seeking the answers
