Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team (AP, AR, GL)
Manage workloads, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations
Oversee GL functions: journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis
Prepare sales & use tax returns and support 1099 reporting
Improve workflows, systems, and accounting processes
Partner with the CFO on continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor team metrics and ensure deadlines are met
Align team goals with company KPIs and strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Solid understanding of GAAP
Skilled in time management and team collaboration
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Bachelor's in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years of progressive related experience required
Preferred
Master's or CPA preferred
