Responsibilities
Creating, executing and managing digital content across all Fastenal Company web platforms
Utilizing a range of techniques including building web pages, paid search, SEO, and PPC
Presenting and maintaining our brand messaging to external audiences
Devising strategies to grow our brand and sales
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
Assisting in execution of social media strategy for the company
Analyzing and managing metrics and ROI related to digital efforts
Qualification
Required
Possess or working towards a Marketing or Business degree OR have at least 3 years of related work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrate strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategy and social media/marketing programs
Demonstrate a creative mindset with the ability to work on multiple projects with short lead times
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Exhibit a desire to learn and implement new programs
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
Preferred
General Web Design/Coding experience with HTML/CSS
Knowledge of Google applications, such as Analytics, Shopping, etc
Knowledge of SEO/SEM strategy and implementation
