Responsibilities
Acting as a leader in the support of the Safety Journey and the Company’s Goal of Achieving an Injury-Free Workplace. Driving continuous improvement in workplace safety by promptly addressing the root causes or near misses, conducting effective safety meetings, promptly addressing safety concerns raised by employees
Responsible for EHS, MOC, GMP, and Q.C. Compliance in department/shift. Conduct safety and quality meetings as needed
Troubleshoot machine issues with hourly operators. Utilization of root cause analysis when troubleshooting equipment to ensure repairs are done correctly
Ownership for their department/shift, i.e. manpower utilization, and maintenance budget
Own maintenance for department/shift, including but not limited to creating work orders, validating the work is done correctly, escalate issues to management when needed, and closing work orders
Track machine downtime related to mechanical, electrical
Ensure machines are properly utilized to meet and exceed production goals
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
5 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing and/or food related industries
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others
Demonstrated ability to lead by example, act with integrity, and hold team members accountable
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to support ongoing learning and improvement
Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate Degree in engineering, business, or related field
