Responsibilities
Applies sound engineering principles and disciplines in order to understand and minimize the variability associated with the various processes and finished product attributes
Defines operating procedures and SPC methods to assist operators in production environment
Evaluates product and process capability, equipment reliability, process utilization and process cost opportunity while implementing improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering
Knowledge of SPC principles as well as statistical representation of data and process/product variability required
Project management skills and strong written/verbal communication skills are required
1+ years of related engineering experience in a manufacturing environment is desired but not a requirement for this position
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident
