Responsibilities
Serve as the lead legal advisor on insurance claims, coverage analysis, and litigation strategy
Manage outside counsel relationships, including selection, budgeting, and performance oversight
Draft high-stakes coverage position letters and provide guidance on policy language and endorsements
Shape litigation strategy and settlement negotiations with a strong business-risk lens
Draft, review, and negotiate insurance-related agreements and litigation documents
Qualification
Required
4+ years of law firm experience with a strong focus on insurance defense litigation and coverage
J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar license
Experience preparing coverage opinions for property & casualty policies
Strong collaboration, relationship-building, and communication skills
