Responsibilities
Implement and manage Varonis or DSPM solutions for both on-prem and cloud environments
Interface with customers to remove unnecessary permissions and improve data security
Develop and follow procedures for data security and compliance
Assist in building processes to address PHI found on devices
Perform server health checks, address server requests, and manage bulk imports
Troubleshoot improperly imported servers and clean up server mappings (e.g., reassign servers to correct collectors)
Monitor alerts related to collector-server performance, evaluate resource needs, and submit requests for resource increases
Collaborate with the Lead Engineer to configure DSPM tools and related infrastructure
Qualification
Required
3–4 years of hands-on DSPM experience (Data Security Posture Management)
5–7 years of overall IT experience with strong infrastructure knowledge
Proficiency with Varonis or similar data security tools (e.g., Sierra, other DSPM platforms)
Strong understanding of data security principles and compliance requirements (PHI, PCI, SSN)
Proven ability to develop and document processes and procedures
Experience with troubleshooting including strong communication skills for customer interaction and cross-team collaboration
Experience in healthcare IT environments (basic understanding of PHI and compliance standards)
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
