Responsibilities
Perform general office duties within the Financial Aid Office and Veterans Resource Center
Assist students with general questions through email, Live Chat, in person, and by phone
Schedule appointments
Scan documents submitted to the Financial Aid Office and Veterans Resource Center
Create flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials
Complete special projects as requested
Gain knowledge of the financial aid/veterans' process
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
GPA of 2.0 or above
Must be enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attentiveness to detail, excellent organizational skills, initiative, and multitasking
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence
Preferred
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency
Demonstrated multicultural competence
