Senior Cost Accountant

The Senior Cost Accountant serves as a strategic finance partner at Omni International's manufacturing site in Kennesaw, Georgia, leading cost accounting, financial reporting, and revenue management to support manufacturing operations.

Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree AND a minimum of five years' experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry
Preferred
Advanced Analytical Capabilities: Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, and data interpretation to identify trends, cost drivers, and profit optimization opportunities
Comprehensive Accounting Expertise: Deep knowledge of general accounting principles, cost accounting methodologies, manufacturing accounting, and financial reporting standards at an advanced level
Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to various audiences, including executive leadership; skilled in creating and delivering compelling presentations that drive decision-making
Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Advanced Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros), Microsoft Access (database management), and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations and data visualization)
Process Improvement & Lean Manufacturing Experience: Hands-on experience implementing lean accounting principles, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization in manufacturing settings
Specialized Software Knowledge: Experience with QuickBooks accounting software and Crystal Reports for custom reporting and data analysis
