Responsibilities

Preparing RFQ package with drawings and supporting price negotiations with suppliers
Preparing, executing, and analyzing data from requests for quotes to prepare bid comparison sheets
Working with cross-functional teams on cost savings projects to gather department requirements and preparing bid specification sheets
Supporting commodity group strategies for category groups such as sheet metal, drawings parts, Facilities Management, Logistics, etc
Using SAP for data collection, maintenance of material master, invoice resolution and purchase requisition approvals to support the local operational team
Improving purchasing processes by supporting catalog development, process standards, etc

Required

Business management or industrial engineering background with an interest in commercial topics
