Responsibilities
Support the preparation, distribution, and tracking of punch lists and follow-up items
Maintain accurate QC records, logs, and inspection reports
Help organize and manage project documentation such as submittals, test reports, permits, and compliance documents
Assist in preparing QC summaries, weekly reports, and progress updates
Check and review plant reports (HMA, PCC)
Calibration records and due dates
Work with team members to troubleshoot issues that might arise
Update IM’s and spec provisions
Assist with the schedule for team members
Enter data into Stonemont daily
Ensure DOT, MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance
Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or construction education preferred
Experience in construction, engineering, or quality control support is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and document findings clearly
Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Able to work independently and under time constraints
Preferred
Experience with project management or QA software
Knowledge of HMA mix production
Knowledge of Stonemont
