Marketing Planner

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a consumer products company that is looking to hire a Sr. Marketing Planner to be responsible for leading licensing approvals, brand governance, and marketing execution across a portfolio of well-known brands. This role will serve as a primary liaison between internal teams, external licensors, agencies and vendor, ensuring creative development, product launches, and marketing initiatives are executed on time and are compliant with licensing and brand standards.

Responsibilities

Be the main point of contact for licensing partners, agencies and vendors for all licensing-related approvals
Manage end-to-end licensing approval workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all assets
Educate internal teams and executional partners on licensing requirements, brand use guidelines, and approval processes
Lead the creative development and execution support for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and content creation initiatives from concept through final delivery
Develop and manage creative briefs, timelines and approval workflows, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on brand and on schedule
Work cross-functionally with product, sales, creative, and external agencies to align deliverables with business objectives
Ensure all creative outputs meet brand standards, licensing guidelines, and compliance requirements prior to release
Own all executional responsibilities for the digital asset management tool including asset intake, metadata accuracy, taxonomy, version control, approvals, and collection management
Reinforce DAM governance and best practices to ensure assets are accurate, approved, and easily accessible
Establish, implement and improve marketing process and systems supporting efficiency and scalability
Create and maintain ongoing project documentations, including timelines, briefs, approvals, and launch materials
Ensure transparent communication across teams through clear documentation and status reporting
Be a brand steward ensuring consistent and appropriate use of brand and licensed assets across all touch points; educating internal and external stakeholders on brand standards, policies, and compliance requirements
Support the development and execution of marketing plans aligned with product strategies and business goals
Lead, motivate and influence to deliver high quality work
Foster a workplace of culture aligned with company values, strategic vision, and commitment to collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
6+ years of experience in marketing planning, brand management, licensing or related role
Proven experience in managing licensing approvals, brand governance, and creative workflows
Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Excellent writing, proofreading, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing asset intake, metadata, taxonomy, approvals, and version control within digital asset management systems
Understanding of DAM governance, permissions, and workflow best practices
Able to work and juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
