IT Support Technician Level 1.5 (MSP)
Bowman Williams is a long-established, family-owned Managed Service Provider supporting SMB and nonprofit clients. The role involves resolving high-volume Level 1 and early Level 2 tickets, troubleshooting networking issues, and supporting Microsoft 365 users.
Responsibilities
Resolve high-volume Level 1 and early Level 2 tickets
Troubleshoot networking issues including TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, and wireless
Support routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
Perform basic server and infrastructure troubleshooting (on-prem and cloud)
Support Microsoft 365 users, licensing, and basic administration
Document work clearly in PSA and knowledge base tools
Collaborate with teammates during escalations and peak ticket periods
Communicate professionally with end users and clients
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in an MSP environment
Comfort working in a ticket-driven, SLA-based support model
Strong networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, and wireless
Basic server troubleshooting experience
Clear communication skills and a client-first mindset
