Protege Agent: Farmers Insurance
Farmers Insurance is seeking a Protege Agent to support the agency's operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the insurance field. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and policy recommendations, providing training and mentorship for career growth in insurance.
Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio
Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
Policy Recommendations: Analyze clients insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance
Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to provide informed advice to clients
Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction
Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the agency management system
Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or an equivalent required
Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty and/or Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Georgia (or willingness to obtain)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Bachelor degree
Experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
