Responsibilities
Design and develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Write and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets to support analytics initiatives
Work with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, data governance practices, and reporting standards
Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models to support self-service analytics
Collaborate with business units (Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for data discrepancies and performance issues
Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to data architecture best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in BI development or data engineering
Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL)
Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
Proven track record in developing and maintaining enterprise BI solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments
Preferred
Experience with Salesforce data integration or CRM analytics
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Exposure to scripting languages like Python or R for data transformation
