Responsibilities
Accounting: Senior accounting leader responsible for all technical accounting aspects for a portfolio of real estate structures
Client Service Ownership: Own the operational delivery of core fund account and administration services for assigned clients, ensuring standards, timelines, and quality metrics are consistently met
Delivery Oversight & Coordination: Coordinate activities across core delivery teams and any specialist service teams required to ensure seamless execution of the client service model for all clients within the portfolio
Standards & Best Practice Execution: Implement frameworks and standards developed by the Financial and Regulatory Reporting CoEs and ensure compliance across delivery teams
Delivery Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks and issues, escalating when necessary and maintaining client confidence
Leadership: lead and scale a team of technical accountants across all aspects of Real Estate funds & SPV accounting. Manage the on-going training and development requirements of team members as well as the health, growth and cohesiveness of the team itself
Client Service: Responsible for managing the client relationship(s) and service delivery for US Real Estate clients and in leveraging the global capabilities of the firm to meet client needs
Act as authority on day to day queries and as “B” level 4-eyes signatory on accounting administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts
Review service provided and requested scope changes across teams to ensure that appropriate billing opportunities are identified, and appropriate action taken
Business Development: Assist with proposals, pitches and presentations in conjunction with the US Leadership team and the business development team and participate in new client proposals/pitches as necessary
Participate in the development of detailed client pricing and potentially in related negotiations
Qualification
Required
Senior-level accounting expertise, with the ability to lead all technical accounting aspects for a portfolio of real estate fund structures
Excellent understanding of Real Estate fund accounting & SPV accounting
Advanced experience with Yardi is essential
Proven ability to manage client relationships and experience overseeing the delivery of core fund accounting and administration services
Skilled in interpreting client needs and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work
Ability to identify and manage service delivery risks and issues, maintaining client confidence
Demonstrable track record of leading and building high performing teams and provide continuous coaching, training, and development to team members
Strong people leadership aligned to driving both business and individual growth
Experience developing client pricing and participating in commercial negotiations
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
Confident decision-maker who can handle complex, high‑pressure situations
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High professional standards, client‑focused mindset, and alignment with Aztec's brand values and ambition
Preferred
CPA certified or MBA in relevant field is preferred
