Responsibilities
Maintain production schedules and quality of work to a limited extent
Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisition, equipment, and supplies for section
Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, upgrading, and transfer
Review and compile operations records, such as yield, scrap, and maintenance costs
Enable effective communications between management and operators
Train new employees and coach existing employees
Assemble frame parts
Responsible for the assembly and preparation of product to be shipped
Lift and move materials and parts weighing up to 40 pounds as needed for production
Assemble parts using appropriate hand tools such air guns, power drills and screw drivers
Manufacture and pack products as necessary
Keep equipment/facilities in good and safe condition to work
Clean parts and finished models to remove residues
Ensure the safety, security and productivity instructions are adhered to
Enforce all safety and processing procedures to new employees
Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
Qualification
Required
Willingness to work an off shift and weekends, although hours and shifts can change based on business needs
Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions
High School Diploma or GED
Must speak English
Computer knowledge a must
Preferred
One to two years of related experience, including supervision
Must be able to read and understand instructions and possess basic arithmetic skills
Must be able to stand for duration of shifts (8-12 hrs.)
May be required to work a flexible schedule
