Responsibilities
Support the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for assigned regions or entities
Analyze profit and loss statements and investigate monthly variances
Partner with operations and business leaders to review financial results and improve reporting visibility
Assist with internal and external audit requests and related documentation
Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities
Assist with estimated tax calculations and responses to federal and state tax notices
Maintain fixed asset records and related accounting
Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and enhanced controls
Support system implementations, testing, and documentation updates
Assist with the integration of newly acquired entities
Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of accounting or finance experience required
Financial reporting experience required
Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented, data-driven approach
Advanced Excel proficiency
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong communication skills and a business-partner mindset
Preferred
3+ years of public accounting experience and/or CPA license
Experience with system implementations or ERP enhancements
Exposure to ASC 606 revenue recognition
Billing or revenue-related accounting experience
Background in private equity–backed organizations
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE)
