Law Practice
Responsibilities
All domestic and international office accounting. Act as liaison with accounting staff in those offices
Daily cash management, including wiring, balancing to the bank and determining the daily cash position of the firm
Daily trust activities
Daily and/or monthly reconciliation and analysis of general ledger and balance sheet accounts
Preparation of journal entries
Assisting with year-end audit requests
Assisting the Accounts Payable department with invoicing and vendor management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
One to two years of experience in an accounting position required
Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using computerized general ledger systems (CMS) with advanced knowledge of Excel, along with working knowledge of MS Word applications, and operating in a Windows environment
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as, independently
Excellent customer service experience required
