Dialysis Technician Instructor (Part-Time)

NEOGOV is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Dialysis Technician Instructor to provide high-quality instruction through various teaching strategies. The instructor will prepare students to demonstrate competency in dialysis procedures and complete clinical requirements and applicable certification examinations.

Responsibilities

Instruct and evaluate students in assigned dialysis technician courses
Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College’s academic calendar and approved syllabi
Meet all scheduled class sessions as outlined in the semester calendar
Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, instructional hours, academic progress, and grades using approved college systems
Utilize appropriate instructional technology, including the College’s learning management system, to support instructional delivery
Implement and update instructional materials to meet Allied Health program standards
Demonstrate and supervise proper dialysis techniques to prepare students for clinical practice and certification or competency examinations
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding academic performance, attendance, and professional conduct
Collaborate with the Director of Allied Health to support instructional activities within the program
Participate in required meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as directed
Maintain current proficiency in dialysis technician skills and clinical practices

Qualification

Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCertified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT)Dialysis procedures experienceTeaching adult learnersHealthcare-related degree

Required

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) credential (or equivalent dialysis technician certification)
Minimum of three (3) years of recent professional experience in dialysis or a related clinical setting

Preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a healthcare-related field
Experience teaching adult learners or in a postsecondary setting
