National Equity Fund, Inc. is a leading non-profit syndicator of low-income housing tax credits seeking an Investment Analyst to support new business initiatives. The role involves maintaining investment models, conducting economic analysis, and contributing to investor reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Maintain and audit investment models for all funds
Model economic impact/ IRR of property investments and incremental impact to funds
Determine fund capital needs and call capital from investors as needed
Compile information necessary to provide investor quarterly reports
Respond to investor requests and inquiries including but not limited to fund and property performance
Conduct economic analysis including changes to project equity and benefits for other internal departments
Contribute to the annual portfolio tax reporting effort, including overseeing variance explanations of actual property performance from projections
Create and implement efficiencies for the Fund Management group
Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Required

2 - 3 years of experience in real estate investments or financial field, college graduates with a strong background will also be considered
A minimum B.A. in finance, economics, accounting, business administration or equivalent job experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a preference towards financial modeling
The ideal candidate should be analytical, have a broad knowledge of financial markets, and a conceptual understanding of limited partnerships

Preferred

Pursuit of CFA charter is a plus
Additional enterprise and technical software experience including but not limited to Power BI and dashboards a plus
