Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Adult Mental Health Services Assertive Community Treatment Coordinator, performs a variety of clerical duties requiring exercise of good judgment and knowledge
Daily ongoing consumer contact; receives, screens and routes telephone calls; assists walk-in consumers and other visitors in ascertaining needs, explains departmental policies, procedures, and program operating guidelines, initiating necessary paperwork, and referring to appropriate staff
Additional duties include: typing, scheduling, and ongoing maintenance of consumer records and data entry

Qualification

Typing speed 40 WPMMicrosoft WordMicrosoft ExcelCDT/CMH ReporterEffective communication

Required

High school diploma or G.E.D. is required
Two years secretarial experience or equivalent required
Ability to type and pass a speed and accuracy test with 40 words per minute net required
Must pass a Microsoft and Excel exam with a proficient score
Proficient in Microsoft Word is required
Ability to become proficient in CDT/CMH Reporter, the agency software that tracks statistical data, services rendered and bill for services is required
Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally is required
