Responsibilities
Actively seek and identify new qualified trade partners and continuously negotiate to align pricing with the current market conditions. Maintain integrity and order of all bid files and contracts
Reach out to existing and potential vendors to solicit bids for new plans and communities
Maintain Dropbox folders to include all plans, scopes of work and community specifications
Prepare and review contract packages for approval and filing
Negotiate competitive pricing on all bids for your assigned trade partners
Prepare, analyze, and accurately maintain cost comparison for each trade partner category
Review weekly EPOs for your assigned cost codes and conduct business meetings as needed to eliminate any unexpected costs
Negotiate any price changes and ensure POs are updated as needed
Collaborate with your assigned trade partners to resolve any invoicing and AR issues that may arise
Work with estimators and budgeting coordinators to provide accurate pricing for buyer selected options
Assist with new trade partner onboarding, standards, and enforcing scopes of work
Become proficient in custom option and sales pricing for buyer selected options and assist with weekend pricing 2 weekend days per month
Qualification
Required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
BRIX experience
Experience in residential home building
