Responsibilities
Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients, members, and providers
Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
Triage calls based on urgency and patient needs
Verify insurance coverage and perform pre-certification as required
Ensure eligibility and authorization for scheduled appointments
Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and internal teams
Document patient interactions accurately using EMR and scheduling systems
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of customer service experience
2+ years of direct experience scheduling radiology diagnostic testing, including: Mammogram, DEXA, X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine
Knowledge of health insurance verification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Epic EMR experience
