Responsibilities

Lead, manage and mentor the Boston area Project Management Team, including Project Engineering and Project Services (to include controls, scheduling and cost) while setting strategic direction aligned with corporate and local office goals
Serve as a key member of the local business unit leadership team and represent PM Group with clients
Act as an ambassador for the company as you interact with our clients and provide excellent project delivery services
Lead, execute and oversee projects directly and through the supervision of other PM team members
Focus on building and retaining a key core team through recruitment, training and mentoring
Ensure good departmental communications including current office and company information
Lead planning and allocation of resources to meet project management requirements at both the office and client sites
Develop and maintain client relationships via client outreach, external presentations, participation in technical committees, etc
Generate scopes of work, project proposals, schedules and cost estimates
Present to clients, industry leaders, academics and students on relevant topics
Lead the project delivery strategy development & delivery through the entire project life cycle
Interact with Senior Management in a constructive manner while preserving the scope and resources on projects
Maintain and drive quality standards within the discipline
Identify and drive needed improvements that support the development of the project delivery Community on PM Group’s internal platforms

Required

Bachelor's degree in science or an engineering discipline
15 + Years of experience working within a CGMP regulated environment
Proven Previous experience providing project management services to clients
Experience functioning as a Team Leader supporting multiple life science projects
Proven understanding of project execution methodologies for CGMP life science facilities
Good time management skills
Strong work ethic, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality
A forward planner who identifies and resolves project issues
Ability to critically assess own performance and the performance of others
Broad experience in interdisciplinary coordination on projects in the life sciences industry
Excellent communication, documentation & people skills
Good organizational and leadership skills
Flexible and willing to travel to meet project and company requirements as needed
