Senior LevelSRM Digital LLC is seeking a PowerBI & Cognos Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end BI solutions. The role involves analyzing existing Cognos reports, migrating them to Power BI, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency across platforms.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver end-to-end BI solutions, including Power BI reports, Cognos assets, data models, and DAX calculations
Analyze existing Cognos reports, packages, and Framework Manager models to understand business logic and data structures
Map Cognos Framework Manager models to optimized Power BI semantic models
Rebuild Cognos reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring equivalent functionality and visual consistency
Develop solutions to replicate unsupported or custom Cognos functionalities within Power BI
Validate and reconcile data outputs between Cognos and Power BI to ensure accuracy and consistency
Integrate data from multiple sources and perform data transformation and optimization
Optimize Power BI reports for performance, scalability, security, and usability
Perform performance tuning for large and complex datasets
Ensure adherence to BI best practices, governance, and reporting standards
Qualification
Required
Power BI expertise including DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling
Strong experience with IBM Cognos Analytics (Reports, Dashboards, Framework Manager, SDK / Metadata Extraction)
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle and SQL Server)
Working knowledge of Python
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
Experience with Databricks and Azure Cloud services
PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (Required)
Proven hands-on experience migrating IBM Cognos reports and dashboards to Power BI
