PROGRAMMER/ANALYST
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a Programmer/Analyst to join their Medical Education Information Services Applications and Analytics Team. The primary role involves maintaining and developing database-driven web applications, providing support for analysis, design, development, and implementation of new programs, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies.

Providing support for the analysis, design, estimates, development, documentation, testing and implementation of new computer programs
Providing maintenance and support for programs within existing systems
Liaison with user, technical support, training, and operations personnel
Providing technical and administrative support to the department
Committing to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field required
Work experience may substitute for education requirement
