Responsibilities
Handle inbound customer calls and emails related to ocean freight shipments
Resolve billing inquiries, POD requests, shipment tracing, and service issues
Enter and manage shipment bookings accurately
Coordinate shipment pickups with trucking partners and carriers
Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer instructions are met
Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary
Provide receptionist/front desk coverage when needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of ocean freight forwarding experience
Strong phone communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attendance and reliability
Preferred
Ocean freight forwarding and trucking experience
3+ years of customer service experience (call center and/or receptionist)
Proficiency with computers and internal systems (Google Workspace, Smartsheet, FreshDesk)
