Responsibilities
Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing potential referral sources within the agency’s territory and surrounding area
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources, including but not limited to the following: independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, Adult Home, Shelters, & Senior Housing
Developing a network of referral sources
Obtaining Enrollment information
Assisting members in obtaining doctor's orders
Assisting Members with Enrolment Appointments
Identifying and marketing to seniors and disabled persons and to Buildings that serve such populations
Conducting presentations to consumers and professional groups
Marketing to Medicaid and Medicare beneficiaries
Developing and maintaining new referral sources and/or partnerships in the community
Qualification
Required
Experience in marketing or business development, preferably in the healthcare sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with referral sources
Knowledge of the senior care industry and understanding of the needs of seniors and disabled persons
Experience in conducting presentations to consumers and professional groups
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexibility in working hours
