Human Resources Manager
Sage Solutions Group is seeking a confident, well-rounded HR Generalist or HR Manager who is ready to take the next step into HR consulting. In this role, you will serve as a trusted HR partner to small and mid-sized clients, providing hands-on support across core HR functions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned client organizations
Develop, implement, and train leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Lead onboarding, hiring support, and annual benefits open enrollment
Process payroll, manage benefits administration, and maintain HR documentation
Provide guidance and administration related to FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and employee relations matters
Partner with client leadership to align HR practices with business goals
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Support HR projects across clients, including audits, training, and process improvements
Travel to client sites within the Metro Detroit area as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
3+ years of progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager
Hands-on knowledge of payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations
Comfort working independently, managing multiple clients, and shifting priorities
Strong communication skills and professional presence with client leaders
Willingness to work onsite at client locations as required
Preferred
Experience supporting organizations with fewer than 100 employees preferred
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) is a plus
