Responsibilities
Serve as the Responsible Design Engineer and Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes. This includes providing technical oversight of design products (I&C drawings, calculations, and other documentation), be the primary design engineer interface between all other engineering disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders
Perform and assist in Site walk downs, supporting SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), support preparation of cost estimates and scoping
Qualification
Required
8+ years of related experience
An accredited bachelor's engineering degree
Solid electrical knowledge
Experience reading electrical/controls drawings
Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field
Experience with cost estimating, managing mid-size to large scale projects from the engineering deliverables perspective
Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, decision making skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff and/or vendors
Travel may be required for FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and project related meetings
Preferred
Strongly desired that individual has prior nuclear and design experience
