Responsibilities
Manage a diverse caseload involving general liability and related civil defense matters
Handle written discovery, law and motion, depositions, and case strategy development
Draft pleadings, briefs, and substantive reports for internal and client review
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings
Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case planning and trial preparation
Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and reliable case management
Qualification
Required
Active California Bar license required
4+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally within insurance defense or a closely related practice area
Strong writing, analytical, and case‑management skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving environment
Professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to high‑quality client service
Preferred
Trial or courtroom exposure is a plus — especially for attorneys seeking more trial‑track opportunities
Deposition experience strongly preferred
