Responsibilities
Develop and execute scripting solutions (primarily Python) to automate system deployment tasks, including generating IP addresses through portal or BCM interfaces
Lead the installation and configuration of new hardware systems, focusing on software provisioning rather than physical setup
Manage system updates, including hardware firmware/software provisioning, ensuring seamless integration within existing infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate network and SLURM configurations, ensuring optimal system performance
Support system scalability and reliability through scripting and automation, with exposure to tools like Ansible being a plus
Qualification
Required
Strong scripting skills in Python, with experience in automation and deployment
Familiarity with server and network systems, including SLURM
Ability to manage system configurations without requiring scope or electrical debugging
Experience with system provisioning processes and hardware environment management
Knowledge of network setup and management, particularly in rack system environments
Preferred
Background in CS or Electrical Engineering preferred
Exposure to configuration management tools such as Ansible is advantageous
