InternParkview Health is seeking an IS Information Security Summer Non-Clinical Intern to support the Identity and Access Management team. The intern will assist with Role-Based Access Control tasks, contribute to IAM and automation projects, and respond to access-related requests while learning about identity and access management best practices.

Responsibilities
Assist with tasks related to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) while gaining familiarity with IAM technologies, general IT operations, and organizational processes
Contribute to small IAM and automation projects, as well as user provisioning and de-provisioning activities across multiple systems, working under the guidance of experienced team members
Help respond to incoming access-related requests in a timely manner with team support and learn how access changes impact clinical and operational workflows, with a strong focus on maintaining secure and uninterrupted access
Stay informed about basic identity and access management best practices and learn how these practices are applied within Parkview Health
Assist with further automation of Active Directory groups and streamlining provisioning processes, as well as supporting the team in a single identity initiative
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate college student or graduate college student
GPA of 3.0 or above
Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation
Basic knowledge of access controls and multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods
Preferred
Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of internship
Specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of internship
