Responsibilities
Build and deploy Oracle database platforms to various business units
Focus on Oracle deployments on AWS, with some on-prem work
Customize and automate Oracle platform engineering processes
Utilize CI/CD tools to deploy databases into production environments
Perform Oracle DBA tasks to ensure optimal database performance
Conduct security scans and analyze PL/SQL code as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, Performance Engineering, and Replication Engineering across multiple platforms, including Linux and Engineered systems, with expertise in Oracle RAC, GoldenGate replication, large database hybrid environments (on-prem and public cloud), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Proficient in CI/CD tools (GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins), database migration, building and deploying data solutions in cloud environments, and configuring alerts and monitors using tools like Data Dog, OEM, and OTEL
Proven delivery of data solutions on AWS and Azure
Expertise with Oracle RAC including performance challenges and tuning
Proficiency with GoldenGate replication on Oracle RAC and Exadata
Strong Oracle platform deployment experience (Build, customize, automate)
Oracle platform engineering and automation experience
CI/CD tools to deploy into production (e.g., Git, Artifactory, Jenkins)
Oracle DBA skills for performance tuning
Bachelors Degree required
Preferred
AWS or Azure certifications (preferred)
Security scanning tools (Nice to have)
Ability to analyze code (PL/SQL) (Nice to have)
