Responsibilities
Define the long-term technical roadmap for the ServiceNow ecosystem, ensuring it scales with the organization’s growth
Lead the design of complex integrations, custom applications, and automated workflows across modules (CSM, ITSM, CRM, CPQ etc.)
Establish and enforce development standards, code reviews, and best practices to minimize technical debt and ensure upgradeability
Work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and developers to translate business needs into technical blueprints
Stay ahead of ServiceNow releases (e.g., Zurich, Australia) to evaluate new features like Generative AI, Agentic AI and Process Mining
Qualification
Required
12+ years in IT, with 5+ years specifically focused on ServiceNow architecture and advanced development
Mastery of JavaScript, Glide API, Service Portal (AngularJS/Widget development), and IntegrationHub
Strong understanding of LDAP, SSO, SCIM, Mid-Servers, and REST/SOAP integrations
Excellent mentorship abilities and the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in CSM and ITSM
Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Certified Master Architect (CMA)
