Security Engineer
OP Recruiting is seeking a Security Engineer to lead the expansion of an established SOX program within a newly integrated business. The role focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements and technology solutions to enhance IT General Controls and User Access Review practices, while collaborating with the GRC Engineering team.

Responsibilities
Lead the expansion of an established SOX program within a newly integrated business
Identify and implement both process improvements and technology solutions to mature IT General Controls (ITGCs) and User Access Review (UAR) practices
Coordinate with platform stakeholders, planning and supporting the development of technology-driven control solutions
Collaborate with an established GRC Engineering team to integrate multiple domains into a cohesive approach and shared codebase
Perform hands-on software development in close partnership with the engineering team
Work directly in code and possess strong knowledge of SDLC best practices—particularly in a compliance-focused environment
Collaborate across time zones as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience in leading the expansion of SOX programs
Ability to identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions
Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and User Access Review (UAR) practices
Skilled at coordinating with platform stakeholders
Experience in planning and supporting the development of technology-driven control solutions
Ability to collaborate with a GRC Engineering team
Hands-on software development experience
Strong knowledge of SDLC best practices, particularly in a compliance-focused environment
Willingness to collaborate across time zones
