Bookkeeper

PrideStaff is a multi-office full-service accounting firm looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounting team and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Manage and update the general ledger
Process and reconcile invoices and payments
Generate monthly invoicing for clients
Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payment and collections
Prepare financial statements from QuickBooks
Respond to accounting inquiries from clients, vendors, and staff
Processing of client correspondence and financial statements on QuickBooks
Inventory of audits and client information
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management

Required

High School diploma or equivalent required
5-7 years of experience in accounting or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & QuickBooks)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred

A Bachelor's degree is a plus
Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks) preferred
