Responsibilities
Monitor and support daily logistics operations including the processing of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory movements and carrier coordination
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, verifying quantities and documentation
Pick, pack, stage, and transport materials to production or shipping areas
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and efficiently
Handle loading of the final product into ocean containers which will include removal of a small trailer axle and some minor wood work needed to the container to support securing the shipment
Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies
Ensure accurate data entry in inventory management or ERP systems
Coordinate material flow through Kanban to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines
Identify and resolve material shortages, damages, or process inefficiencies
Act as a point of escalation for operational issues (delays, shortages, mis-shipments)
Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and company policies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
3 to 5 years of logistics, material handling and warehouse experience
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Strong computer skills and experience with inventory systems
