Technical Engineer

Responsibilities
Install, configure, and integrate APS software applications supporting manufacturing and production planning processes
Assist in evaluating existing systems and operational workflows to identify improvement opportunities and recommend technical enhancements
Support the development, customization, and testing of tools, scripts, and client-specific functionality using T-SQL and .NET
Develop and maintain SQL-based reports to support operational analytics, planning insights, and customer reporting needs
Create and enhance reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI, as applicable
Contribute to project delivery activities across the full lifecycle, including planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and customer handover
Provide first-line technical and reporting support during and after solution deployment, ensuring system stability and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and third-party IT stakeholders in multi-vendor enterprise environments
Build strong customer relationships by understanding operational challenges and delivering data-driven and solution-oriented support
Identify opportunities to expand or enhance solutions within existing customer environments and communicate potential business opportunities
Participate in post-project reviews and contribute lessons learned to improve technical delivery, reporting practices, and commercial processes
Maintain documentation related to system configurations, integrations, reporting logic, and support activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Experience or academic exposure to T-SQL, SQL-based reporting, and .NET development (internships, coursework, or professional experience acceptable)
U.S. citizenship and fluency in spoken and written English
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships
Initiative-driven mindset with strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities
High sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to quality
Logical, structured problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interest in technology, data analytics, manufacturing operations, and continuous learning

Preferred
Prior exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, or scheduling environments
Experience or familiarity with Siemens Opcenter (APS and/or MES)
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI for dashboards, analytics, or business intelligence
General IT knowledge, including domains, licensing, VPNs, IIS, and enterprise infrastructure concepts
Microsoft SQL Server experience or Database Administration certification
Internship or project experience in software implementation, systems integration, reporting, or industrial engineering
