Law Practice
Responsibilities
Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Conduct legal research to support the development of cases
Collaborate with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings
Develop a case theme that is more than a summation of the evidence
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings
Support the team by creating legal resources for use by other attorneys
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Pre-Law, or a related field
Proven experience as a legal writer, demand writer, or in a similar role
Strong understanding of legal principles
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
Familiarity with demand letter formats, legal terminology, and citation styles
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above & Microsoft Office) and with an internet connection of at least 10mbps
Available to work in US business hours
