Divisional Controller

TriMark USA is the country’s largest provider of design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry. The Divisional Controller will oversee the accounting/finance department staff, ensuring the division's financial performance targets and operational efficiencies are met.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and report on the division's performance, including monthly results, forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning
Drive the annual budget process, providing visibility on profitability, efficiencies, and key operational metrics
Collaborate strategically with the Senior Leadership team in the development of company plans and initiatives, including change management
Provide financial leadership in decision-making issues related to potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers
Enhance, develop, and implement processes and procedures that improve overall operational effectiveness and financial profitability
Implement continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization
Prepare monthly financial analysis to aid in understanding business activity and results
Create a monthly reporting package for business reviews, including detailed financial statements and explanations of variances
Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within and outside the financial discipline
Serve as an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts the company may enter
Provide department leadership, including hiring, training, and developing finance team members
Evaluate the team, plan for continual improvement, and provide growth opportunities
Be a key leader on the TriMark United East management team
Participate in meetings with the Executive Leadership Team by articulating financial results with knowledge and professionalism

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience
10+ years of progressive Accounting and Finance experience with demonstrated career progression
Experience with Microsoft suite of products with Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Team management and leadership experience
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance

Preferred

Previous experience in a divisional role within an organization is preferred
Experience in the Commercial Kitchen and/or Construction industries a plus
