Insurance Account Executive / Client Advisor

Responsibilities

Conduct outside sales activities by reaching out to potential clients through telemarketing, networking, and community engagement to generate new business opportunities
Present comprehensive insurance options to clients, clearly explaining coverage details, benefits, and costs to facilitate informed decision-making
Negotiate policy terms with clients and carriers to secure favorable agreements that meet client needs while aligning with company standards
Manage sales administration tasks including quoting policies, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records in compliance with privacy regulations such as HIPAA
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction
Analyze client data and market trends to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns aimed at expanding the client base within diverse communities

Required

Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets

Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills for evaluating client needs and market opportunities
Knowledge of insurance products, sales strategies, and benefits administration is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to build rapport quickly
Experience working within customer service environments or in roles requiring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA
