Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing the iSeries AS400 and WINS system in COBOL and CL based environment
Planning and implementing effective system maintenance and upgrades
Designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure optimal system performance and security
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in Development and Operations on an iSeries/AS400 including the ability to upgrade the Iseries OS/400 operating system, Applying PTFs, performing IPL's and Tape library management
Strong knowledge and expertise in programing languages such as COBOL/400, SQL/400, CLP/400 SDA, RLU, PDM, WRKQRY, Sequel, ACOM, Catapult, DFU
Demonstrated expertise in Insurance for Management of the WINS system
Full knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies and tools for the iSeries
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
