Responsibilities
Receives, records, and verifies daily receipts from drivers
Receives, records and verifies daily check deposits from drivers and completes manifests
Scans checks to bank and creates and sends check deposits
Verifies and copies grocery store printouts
Analyzes and researches causes to "short pays". Explains results of any "short pay" to the responsible driver
Documents all re-routes on the appropriate form and ensures all drivers have notified the appropriate sales person
Produces reports summarizing daily activities and shortages
Documents uncollected checks by driver stop
Files documents and deposits account summaries in to secured safe
Dialogues and summarizes accounts with drivers
Assists with related special projects, as required
Assists in other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
