Responsibilities

Translate clinical workflow discussions into actionable items
Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
Develop and maintain project schedules and work breakdown structures
Track and forecast project financials
Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, and issues
Produce status reports and ensure project documentation is up to date
Escalate issues and risks as necessary to keep the project on track

Required

8+ years of Healthcare IT Project Management experience
Experience with Cerner implementations and integrations
Expertise of HL7 integration standards, secure MFT tools, and data extract services
Hospital experience, particularly familiarity with HL7 as a hospital system standard for integration
Knowledge of data extracts and interfaces to avoid being blindsided by new terminology or processes
Experience in leading projects across a variety of healthcare technologies in both acute care and ambulatory settings
Experience with clinical exposure and understanding of clinical workflows
Experience using Jira and/or ServiceNow for project management (PPM Module)
Proficient in Smartsheet project management tools and Google Suite
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
