Responsibilities

Lead a team responsible for delivering critical middleware services, including reporting, web, and application hosting
Provide direction, assign work, and guide staff within the Applications Operations section
Enable MnDOT to leverage technology across all areas of its operations, from business intelligence and infrastructure solutions to planning and maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system

Required

Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in an application hosting environment
Two (2) years of lead work or supervisory experience
Providing technical direction for a technical support team
Provide guidance of IT technical projects and initiatives
Leading a team that utilizes both cloud based and on premise hosting services and options
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively to foster mutual understanding, and guide teams through change
Customer-focused approach grounded in active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented problem-solving, complemented by formal or informal leadership and people engagement skills to deliver positive user experiences and high-performing results
