They are seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to support supplier quality and performance across complex manufactured components, partnering closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve quality and compliance with established standards.

Responsibilities
Improve supplier performance by identifying capability gaps and implementing corrective actions related to quality, cost, and delivery
Conduct supplier quality assessments, audits, and evaluations to ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards
Lead and support PPAP activities, including review of documentation and validation processes
Guide suppliers in reducing defect rates and improving manufacturing processes through process controls and quality plans
Generate and analyze supplier quality reports, metrics, and performance data
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and category teams to resolve quality and manufacturing issues
Support the development and improvement of manufacturing procedures, standards, and policies
Qualification
Required
Experience with Iron and Aluminum Casting and/or Machined Parts and Processes, with familiarity in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Exposure to manufacturing environments involving complex engineered components
Ability to confidently navigate supplier relationships and quality systems
Strong Quality Orientation with a data-driven approach to continuous improvement
Expertise in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements and submissions
Knowledge of manufacturing standards and process compliance
Experience evaluating and certifying suppliers using defined criteria and methods
