Territory Sales Manager
Commonwealth Casualty Company is a personal lines carrier focused on sustainable growth through strong agency partnerships. They are seeking a Territory Manager to lead and grow their Ohio footprint, managing agency relationships and driving profitable growth through thoughtful expansion.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow agency relationships across Ohio through consistent, high-quality engagement
Develop a strong working understanding of agency needs, books of business, and market dynamics
Drive profitable growth by supporting existing partners and thoughtfully expanding the agency base
Partner closely with an inside sales representative to coordinate outreach, follow-up, and support
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and leadership teams to support Ohio-specific needs
Maintain accurate territory activity and relationship insights using Zoho CRM
Use data and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI) to monitor performance and identify opportunities
Participate in industry meetings, events, and regional gatherings as appropriate
Provide feedback and perspective to leadership as we continue to refine our Ohio strategy
Qualification
Required
Experience in territory management, carrier sales, or agency-facing roles within personal lines insurance
Strong understanding of the Ohio insurance market and agency landscape
A relationship-driven approach grounded in credibility, follow-through, and sound judgment
Comfortable working independently with shared accountability for results
Organized, disciplined, and intentional in managing a statewide territory
Effective communicator with the ability to build trust over time
Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven territory management
